On September 13, 2024, the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee (ICRC) identified concerns with Veronica Lach’s practice in the areas, of clinical reasoning, informed consent, communication, management of safety and adverse events and record keeping as it relates to the provision of pelvic health care. The registrant has agreed to address the concerns identified by the ICRC through a signed Undertaking. The registrant will work to improve their understanding of these areas by completing a review of relevant standards and resources and by participating in practice enhancement coaching.

Since 2017, as required by law, the College has been posting Undertakings on the public register. An Undertaking is a commitment by the physiotherapist to the College to address certain areas of practice highlighted as areas for ongoing learning in a decision by the ICRC. It is not a finding of wrongdoing, professional misconduct or incompetence and is not disciplinary in nature. Undertakings are removed from the register when they have been completed.
