On September 18, 2025, the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee (ICRC) identified concerns with Amr Aboelnaga’s practice in the areas of sensitive practice, boundaries, consent/communications, management of conflict of interest to ensure understanding of power imbalance with treating staff and documentation. The ICRC asked the registrant to improve their knowledge of these areas of professional practice by reviewing relevant standards and resources and by participating in professional ethics coaching. Amr Aboelnaga volunteered to do these activities. 

Since 2017, as required by law, the College has been posting Undertakings on the public register. An Undertaking is a commitment by the physiotherapist to the College to address certain areas of practice highlighted as areas for ongoing learning in a decision by the ICRC. It is not a finding of wrongdoing, professional misconduct or incompetence and is not disciplinary in nature. Undertakings are removed from the register when they have been completed.
