On January 28, 2025, the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee (ICRC) identified concerns with Radha Amish Patel’s practice in the areas of clinical care and clinical reasoning, risk management and safety, consent, managing adverse reactions, discharge from care, patient communication, delegating care to physiotherapist assistants and record keeping. In this case the ICRC asked the registrant to improve their understanding of these areas by completing a review of relevant standards and resources and participating in practice enhancement coaching. Radha Amish Patel volunteered to do these activities.

Since 2017, as required by law, the College has been posting Undertakings on the public register. An Undertaking is a commitment by the physiotherapist to the College to address certain areas of practice highlighted as areas for ongoing learning in a decision by the ICRC. It is not a finding of wrongdoing, professional misconduct or incompetence and is not disciplinary in nature. Undertakings are removed from the register when they have been completed.
