This is a summary of any charges or findings under the Criminal Code of Canada or the Health Insurance Act since July 1, 2015, or the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act since May 2018.

As reported to the College, on February 7, 2026, Simmavishnu Poornachandra Babu has been charged with:

Assault (section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada)
Sexual assault (section 271 of the Criminal Code of Canada)
Uttering threats to cause death (section 264.1(1)(A) of the Criminal Code of Canada)
Uttering threats to cause damage to property (section 264.1(1)(B) of the Criminal Code of Canada)

As a condition Simmavishnu Poornachandra Babu must:

Attend court at the specified dates and times
Notify the specified contact of any changes to their address, employment or occupation
Not communicate, directly or indirectly with the witness and not go within 100m of where they live or are known to be.
Not possess a firearm, crossbow, prohibited weapon, restricted weapon, prohibited device, ammunition, prohibited ammunition or explosive substances and must surrender any the items that are in their position aloong with and licence or registration certificate or other document enablingg them to acquire or possess them to the specified person and location.
