Undertakings

On May 21, 2024, the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee (the “Committee”) identified concerns with Bryan DiFrancesco’s practice in the areas of communication, conflict of interest and fees and billing. In this case, the Committee asked that Bryan DiFrancesco to improve their understanding of these areas by entering an undertaking to work with an ethics coach, and review College Standards and Resources on transparent communication, conflict of interest and fees and billing. Mr. DiFrancesco has volunteered to do these activities.

Since 2017, as required by law, the College has been posting Undertakings on the public register. An Undertaking is a commitment by the physiotherapist to the College to address certain areas of practice highlighted as areas for ongoing learning in a decision by the ICRC. It is not a finding of wrongdoing, professional misconduct or incompetence and is not disciplinary in nature. Undertakings are removed from the register when they have been completed.
