On March 18, 2025, the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee (ICRC) identified concerns with Hiral Chauhan's practice in the areas of informed consent, patient communication and record keeping. The ICRC asked the registrant to improve their knowledge of these areas of professional practice by reviewing relevant standards and resources and by participating in practice enhancement coaching. Hiral Chauhan volunteered to do these activities.

Since 2017, as required by law, the College has been posting Undertakings on the public register. An Undertaking is a commitment by the physiotherapist to the College to address certain areas of practice highlighted as areas for ongoing learning in a decision by the lCRC. It is not a finding of wrongdoing, professional misconduct or incompetence and is not disciplinary in nature. Undertakings are removed from the register when they have been completed.
