Simo O. Partanen

This is a summary of any current charges or findings under the Criminal Code of Canada or the Health Insurance Act since July 1, 2015 or the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act since May 2018.

On April 24, 2023 – Simo Partanen was found guilty of:

• Common Nuisance (lesser to the Operate Conveyance Over 80 mg) section (1)(A) of the Canadian Criminal Code

Conditions – For 31 months from April 24, 2023 Simo Partanen must:

• Keep the peace and be of good behaviour

• Appear before the court when required to do so by the court

• Notify the court or the probation officer in advance of any change of name or address and promptly notify the court or the probation officer of any change in employment or occupation

• Report to a probation officer by phone at all times and places as directed by the probation officer or any person authorized by a probation officer to assist in your supervision.

• Attend and actively participate in all assessment, counselling or rehabilitative programs as directed by the probation officer and complete them to the satisfaction of the probation officer for alcohol abuse

• Complete "Back on Track" or a similar remedial driving program as directed by their probation officer through the Ministry of Transportation or MADD.

• Complete 120 hours of community service to the satisfaction of their probation officer

• Not operate a motor vehicle unless their BAC is 0

• Not operate a motor vehicle unless the vehicle is equipped with an alcohol ignition interlock device, in proper working order, installed by an Ontario-approved provider, beginning 30 days after April 24, 2023, and for the duration of the remaining 30 months of the order

• Carry a copy of the probation order with their driver's license at all times while operating a vehicle and surrender it to any peace officer who asks for their driver's license.
