On May 21, 2024, the ICRC identified concerns with Kimber King’s practice in the areas of record keeping and maintaining privacy of personal health information. The ICRC decided to request that Kimber King complete a number of educational activities to address these concerns, through a signed Undertaking. The activities include working with a practice enhancement coach and a review College Standards and resources.
An Undertaking is a commitment to the College to address certain areas of practice that are identified by the ICRC as areas for learning and improvement. An Undertaking is not a finding of wrongdoing and it is not disciplinary in nature. Since 2017, the College has been posting notice of signed Undertakings, SCERPs (Specified Continuing Education or Remediation Programs) and cautions on the public register. The College makes this information available to the public in the interest of transparency and in keeping with the Protecting Patients Act, 2017.
